No, you don’t need therapy!

People often ask me if therapy is mandatory nowadays. No, it’s not! Why should it be? We all have different ways of finding balance — and that’s okay. 🌸 We are different, and we each have our own way of being in the world. 🌍

I think you don’t need therapy, especially if you:

🌞 were born with an optimistic personality and a stable nervous system

💬 have friends who encourage you AND also tell you the truth, not only what you want to hear

🤝 have at least one good friend who truly listens to you

💼 have a meaningful job, something that makes you feel you contribute

🎯 have wishes and goals larger than yourself — it’s not always about you, you, you

🌿 spend time in nature, admire beauty, and make space for it around you

❤️ have a significant other near you, a good-enough relationship with someone you care for

🌅 feel that life is more than what you do

😌 generally feel good, without living in anxiety or fear about what might happen in the world or with you

🪞 have come to terms with your own imperfections and life events

💪 and finally, are not afraid of the truth — you can embrace it and make changes, no matter how difficult

Many of these are what we need for our well-being. 🌻 Happiness and balance aren’t things we can always chase — we all go through difficult moments, and that’s part of a normal life.

However, if while reading this list you find yourself thinking, “I don’t really have these…” — then ask yourself: ✨ What do I need? And what truly suits me? 💫
