A Full-Circle Moment: Serving, Learning, and Witnessing Change Through AEDP

Sunday was a meaningful day for me. ✨ I served as an EA (Experiential Assistant) for the Immersion course at the @ AEDP Institute, something I never would have imagined when I first began studying psychology, many years ago. Back then, I was simply looking for a framework that could make sense of the deeper layers of human experience. Now I find myself supporting therapists from around the world as they learn — in real time — the same methodology that reshaped the way I understand emotion, connection, and change. 🌍💛 It feels important to contribute, even in a modest way, to the growing visibility of this model in the US and, hopefully, to its wider presence globally. 🌱

What continues to move me is how, under the right conditions, people begin to reconnect with parts of themselves they thought were gone: emotional clarity, a sense of inner movement, small glimmers of hope, and a quiet return of aliveness. AEDP facilitates these shifts in a way that is neither forced nor dramatic — but unmistakably real. Something changes, often subtly at first, yet in a way that stays with people long after the session ends. ✨

Sunday reminded me once again of the precision and depth of this work. When someone feels more coherent inside, more aligned with their emotional truth, more capable of staying present with themselves, the atmosphere in the room transforms. 🔥 A groundedness emerges — not imposed from the outside, but discovered internally. These moments are never loud and never rushed; they’re simply authentic. And they often signal the beginning of something important.

For me, it felt like a full-circle moment, witnessing others engage with a model that continues to deepen my own understanding of what it means to heal. 🙏✨
